Post subject: How come Kintaro,Moutaro,and ShoaKahn was not in MK4? |

I was wondering why isnt these people on the game becuase Goro is.

Goro was in it due to his story connection with Kung Lao. They're not in it because the story simply had nothing to do with them at the time.

Even Goro wasn't in the original arcade version. He was added as an incentive to buy the home versions.

Oh God No! Stop... now. (insert emotocon for incredibly serious face)
It was mainly a marketing ploy. Sure he had ties with Kung Lao's storyline, but if you remember Kung Lao was NOT in MK4. He was incorperated in the Dreamcast remake MK Gold. Goro has a HUGE fanbase having been in MK1. The addition of him was because he was so popular that it was almost a requisite to see him put into 3D.

as said before none of those boss characters has anything to do with the story at the time. It was all Shinnok and Quan Chi taking the role.
