...I could almost see V with Kung Lao, simply because of their justice and principle qualities. DC's sticking with their Justice Leaguers though, I doubt any character from the Vertigo series was considered any more than Meat.

Don't give up all hope till the whole roster is confirmed. besides, I'm sure they're also looking at characters that can actually fight. Who better then V? Personally, I'm expecting Man of Steel and Jax to end up together in this.

Yes and no.
See, when Superman 'died' he switched places with four Supermen from paralell worlds, one of them was the Man of Steel Man; he was a black version of Superman that had a cybornetic body.
So either Man of Steel and Jax, or Cyrax could equate to a Mk vs DC pair.

Ehhh... O.o
Maybe that can work as an alternate costume. But I doubt more than one spot would be used for a different version of Superman. Surely there's another DC character that can fit Jax or Cyrax just as easliy.
