Ninja's aren't a side, and again, the only actual ninja is Scorpion, back when he was alive.
As for which side, I doubt many on here would expect/want to see the DC side best what MK has to offer.

I doubt either side will win. I would prefer MK to win oviously but there will be no clear cut decision made to keep both set of fans happy.

Makes you wonder if it will be straight up MK vs. DC or a typical good guy vs. bad guy story. If it's MK vs. DC I couldn't see a declared 'victor' either, just a lame draw or something. Maybe they'll come together at the end and be friends. *chokes self*

alien vs pred.... no
Robocopvs Terminator, Robocop won... sort of
Freddy vs Jason, Jason won... sort of
Forget about games no crossover ever really declares a winner and even if a side does win it is made so that the losing side can come up with a techinallity so that their sid never loses. For example, Freddy vs Jason,Freddy got his head cut off, not by Jason, and at the end of the film his head winks at the camera.

Even in the alternate ending it gave a more definate "Freddy is back" thing.
Problem with versus titles is it's almost garranteed neither company wants their properties to be the loser. So they give just enough to satisfy the fans without there being a clear cut loser.
Damn it, now I want to see a Freddy vs Jason vs Pin Head: there'd be a clear cut winner in that one.

Does it really matter the difference between cross overs? Wether they're in one form of media or another? Just seriously think on that one.
And no, there was no clear winner in that either.

I'm asking about how other versus games play out so I have an idea what MKvDC will be like.
Movies, comics, and books are different because they focus more on telling a direct story whereas video games focus on the actual gameplay.

AVP: not bad for a SNES game
Marvel vs Capcom: Decent...
Capcom vs SNK: Horrible
