maybe some from the MK side are about to lay the killing blows on the DC hereos but then the realms start to split back to normal and suck all the mk warriors back in,lol lame i know but its a guess

Well, in the end, I'm gonna have to say MK, now here's my reasoning to it.
DC heros: Not willing to kill.
DC villens: Willing to kill.
MK heros: Willing to kill.
MK villens: Willing to kill.
The main thing is that no one in the MK universe has any qualms about killing their foe to defeat them, and since they are used to battles that are all about them either living to see tomorrow, or possibly having your soul trapped in an eternity of torment, they go all out whereas someone like, say, Superman, would hold back for fear of killing his opponent, whereas someone like Scorpion, would not stop unless his opponent was good and dead.
to me, the powers in each universe are basically equil, the one thing that MK has that tips the scale is that the heros are willing to kill an opponent to make sure they didn't come back.
