Well it's gotten waaaaay better if you consider MK4's dialog quality.
I wonder though, are professional voice actors expensive?
I've noticed that the majority of the voice actors used in MK games are usually members of the MK team or people they're friends with. _________________ Very Angry Girls Instigate Negative Attitudes.

I'm sure the way the MK team looks at it is "Why pay for professionals when we can save money and do it ourselves?". I'm sure it can't be that pricey to higher voice talent, but really when the voices are (to me anyways) just a secondary thought, it doesn't bother me that much. _________________

The MK3 fatalities have always kinda bugged me. In MKII they were all creative and realistic, but in MK3 if they got decapitated they don't fall over or anything. It's like they just photoshopped the head off the sprite. And when they explode it's the same 3 circles of blood and a lot of bones like 50 skulls and ribcages and legs. _________________

one thing about the newer MK games that i think is bad is the lack of a dash or run and a few other things like the limited special moves that werew just better on the older games like sub zeros ice clone he cant do it if hes to close or midair also on that note cyrax also didnt have his net
i would also like to see some of the old finishers revived like the bruitality combo

I'm a professional voice actor. I'd ask them to pay me however much they think I deserve.
I agree with an earlier post about the headless fighter who doesn't fall. MK: Trilogy has some pretty cheap fatalities:
They seem to fall BEHIND the spikes.
They get mauled, but have no wounds.
One of Rain's fatalities leaves a fighter upside-down, looking like another Photoshop effect. _________________

Scorpion would, but rarely, say "Get over here, bitch" or Get the f*** over here." in Shaolin Monks when throwing his spear. As for sexuality, That's DOA and GTA's department. Something that's been bugging me is that Shang Tsung can't transform into other characters like he used to in Mk1-3.

Yeah man go back to the oriental style of mk1 and 2, Make rayden 7ft tall hes a God!
Better dialogue, FMVs are a must!
No stage fatality until the opponent is beaten and more of the classic style codes and secrets.
More dark and serious tone!
Also if they ever go back to the kreat-a-fatalty thing it should be something like the wwe games' creat-a-finisher and not the shit that we got. OK it wasn't...shit but it could've been better like Pick a move as part 1, then pick part 2 etc y'no. Then enter your own button combo for it.
If the MK team listens to everyone here it could mean the best MK since 2! _________________

I think it's because it's something next to impossible for animators to have a transforming object in a 3D game, sad, isn't it. _________________ Top 5 fav characters
