Post subject: Help about buying a PS3 in America. |

Im going to America soon to buy a Playstation 3 and bring it back here in the UK. Do you know if I would have to pay anything at the airport to bring it here?? And also would I be able to play my PS2 PAL game on that PS3 that I will buy in America?

You would need a boot disk to play PAL PS1&2 games on the PS3 (PS3 games have no region coding, you can buy a game from anywhere and it will play on your PS3)

You will have a problem if your TV only screens 50Hz since I am sure all American eqiupment is in 60hz. However this can be solved with some special leads I can't remember the nme of. You will also need a power converter so that the American plug can plug into a British socket. But as for bringing ot onto the country it shouldn't cost you extra as long as it fits inside your luggage or if you keep it with yourself on the plane. However if it was going in with the luaggae I would get it insured.
