It's sad, but true. A man whom I've looked up to, both for being hilarious as well as enlightening and wise, has passed away. George Carlin was well known for many of his out standing routines, such was "Seven words you're not allowed to say on TV", "The news report", "Rape can be funny", and many others.
He used language in a way no other person has, to insult us, to make us laugh, and to make us think, all in one go. He spoke of all sorts of topics from religion to sex, and human interaction to animals. Love him or hate him, he was truly a respectable man.
RIP George Carlin, may you have been able to get your 2 minuets before you died.

Damn...I didn't know much of his stand up stuff, but I loved him on screen as Rufus and other roles like the Hitchhiker from Jay and Silent Bob Strike back. he will be missed

Really Sucks to see a great legend comedian like George Carlin Pass away. You will definitely be missed. R.i.p George.
