Pretty good interview with Hector Sanchez, one of the producers for MK v DC out at e3. He talks about how they decided to take the game back to its old school roots, ditching the lame weapons and multiple fighting styles. I dig his quote on "getting rid of Baraka on a go-cart."

Meh, i wasn't moved by the interview. I'm glad to see old school controls, but I will miss Konquest mode, varying fighting styles, and most importantly, the M rating slapped on the game.

i agree the M rating didnt stand for mature it stood for Mortal Kombat

That's stupid for them to say or even think that what they're doing with MKvDC is going back to their 2d roots. They can't with DC characters!

Personally I thought this weeks podcast was boring. Im glad though that this MK game is going back to its roots. I personally am kinda upset they got rid of weapons though. I think that Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance got the weapons down good. I think it would be cool if they had weapons like in Mortal Kombat 3 or where you enter a button combination to perform a weapon maneuver
