I hate Liu in the games cuz he's plain, I can't play as him (although he's easy to use) and he screams like a girl/turkey. But I like him in the movies where he looked much more like a hero.

If Lui Kang does turn up in MKDA, he'd better be a lot cooler and more interesting. The silly screams I can live with. They were funny like Raiden's incomprehensible shouting during the supermen move.

I don't hate Liu Kang, although I NEVER use him.
I think every game needs this guy who appears on the covers and saves the world while the other fighters get all the attention and have better moves. In MK it's Liu, in Street Fighter it's Ryu. They are both cheap, but every game needs these cheap heroes.
