I think it looks cool! But I agree that we need to see a high-res version before we judge too much. From what I see I like it better than the MKD/MKA version.

What difference will a high res render make? I mean, in all reality, it's the same exact thing, just brought out into higher detail.
This render though, meh. I was actually hoping to see Raiden with his MK1 attire.

the hi-res makes a lot of diference! the details are very important to a render... in the hi-res you get to see the details in the clothes expression and other things!

Maybe to graphics whores. Seriously, think back a few years; hi res renders weren't part of a games hype. There were still image renders, but nothing like todays quality. Were those renders any less important? No. Hell, I'd be happy if all they released to us before the game was out were concept sketches. It doesn't matter what you can produce for a render before hand, what does matter is the actual content released.
But, we're gong off topic.

personally i'm thrilled that it wasn't dark rayden. i think they took a little out of rayden with that move.

yeah i agree dark rayden was a bad move but at the same time it was kindov a cool idea

i actually love this raiden render,he looks bloody awesome and is the way i have always liked him to look,Personally i think this is his best outfit so far 2nd would be his alt in MK:DA. looking forward to seeing it in high res.
