cradle of filth sucks.......they bore me, granted i kinda like the fast drm beats and all but i am more into mudvayne, slipknot, ill nino......that kinda stuff. death metal sucks...."oohh looky me *growls really low like an idle engine* ooohhh yeah i can use petals..hehehe....i can sound liek stan...hehehe...." why use petals, that is so frikin dumb, use what you were given and except it as a gift to offer people to like in it's entirety, not change it or alter it. i mean come on......sorry for attacking your music likings people but......in my opinion, cradle of filth just should not be a band, and band that the singer uses petals for his voice to sound "dark and satanic" needs to either be shot he can go work in a cheese sandwich facotry where maybe the cheese might be impressed by his lack of talent in singing, and don't ask me where the hell i just pulled that cheese factory thing from, i just watched freddy got fingered and...yeah it's dumb....but not as dumb as cradle of filth and that's pretty bad

Even thou I find Cradle Of Filth to be completely boring,I'd rather listen to that than the babybottle-core bands out there.And CoF is not a Death Metal band (nor a Black Metal band).

that's fine you wuld rather listen to them, that's your opinion and i was just stating that it hink they suck, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, you cannot tell someone what they like is wrong but what you can do is voic eYOUR opinion on what you think, and that's what i did, don't get all pissy here guys, i am just stating my opinion

Cradle Of Filth is not a death metal band. Most classify them as Black Metal. I prefer to call them Symphonic Black Metal since they use keyboards in their music. Cradle Of Filth is the one of the more commercial Black Metal bands around, and definitly the most known.
Despite any negatives, Cradle Of Filth is a great band. For first time listeners I suggest Cruelty And The Beast and/or V Empire (if you can find it). Dusk & Her Embrace is overrated, Cruelty And The Beast is much better.
And yes, Finntroll is a great band. Jatken's Tid is a very enjoyable album, and quite unique. Although, it may take time to digest for some listeners.

For those who like Cradle Of Filth should check out Dimmu Borgir, Emperor and Mystic Circle. They all use keyboards and are quite symphonic and atmospheric like Cradle Of Filth, but a step above. Check them out.

And Slipknot and Medvayne don't "growl?" It is too bad you are yet another typical "metal" listener...listen to some real metal. Crawl out of the trend-riding "nu-metal" wave...don't dare put down Dimmu Borgir or any other elite black metal artists...Cradle Of Filth are overrated, therefore your twindlings of the band do not bother...
