Are you happy or unhappy that Baraka is the last fighter? I'm personally ecstatic that Baraka is in! He is awesome! I hope he still has his scissor blades move (b, b, b, lp).

I think Baraka fit's in with the DC/Superhero style character. He's a mutant with blades that come out of his arms, that's a good fit for the DC universe. Even though Kung Lao is one of my favorite characters, I think Baraka is a better choice for MKvsDC.

I know. I didn't say Shao Kahn because he's a boss fighter, but technically you are right. By last fighter I meant last normal character.

Hello
baraka is not very good fighter I do not think that should be there.
I have a doubt say that mk vs. dc it's based between mk 2 and 3 should not appear there Kintaro, Nightwolf, reptile and the other of mk 3?

I couldn't be happier. I actually made my day better.
I was so sure I would have to suck it up and except Johnny Cage or have to except Kung Lao as the "Cool" character. Don't get me wrong, I like Kung Lao. But the last thing this game needed on the MK side was another "guy in a suit." I mean Jax, Liu Kang, Sonya, Kitana. Just people with some outfit. Nothing interresting or special. Again, I like them (Except Jax.. He should NEVER have been let into this game but I understand they needed a black demographic. (marketing technique not racism.) I was just hoping it would be someone interresting. No more "Even though it's guy/girl that shoots fireball... they're iconic. Let's put them in" situations.
GO BARAKA!

My sentiments exactly. Baraka actually could kill Batman or The Joker. I would have been disappointed if Johnny Cage had been the last character announced. I also agree about Jax. He was only cool in MK2. He should've been a 1-time character, but instead he has been in 6 mk games while Baraka went from MK2 to MK Gold (Which very few people had because very few people had a Dreamcast) and then to MK Deception! It's not fair! Anyway, I am INCREDIBLY happy that Baraka is in the game!

I'm very happy, in fact, I got the last 4 I was hoping for, especially Darkseid. I thought Cage was going to get it for sure, being that the whole MK 1 roster is in apart from him, but the more I think about it, it makes sense for him not to be in because he'd be disrupting the tone. Because it's T, they want it as violent and as dark as it's possible to get and still not get to the M rating, they want it to not cross the line but go right up to it, and since the MK team has said that Cage is a comic relief character, he wouldn't play into it but Baraka most certainly does, which excites me because he's totally awesome.
I'm very content with the roster overall but I would still love to see Two Face as downloadable content. Oh, do I truly hope that dream is realized....

I really can't see why they wouldn't have DLC. I'm not saying they will, I just can't see a reason not to. Being that this is their first PS3 game, I believe it's their first shot at DLC (and I'm not including the MK games you can buy from the PS and 360 store.) because I don't think it was possible with PS2 games. I don't know, but it's money in their pockets. Why turn down money?
We know there's certain stuff they just can't get, like Heath Ledger's Joker as alternate attire, or a seperate character, that's absolutely definite, but there's no reason not to have DLC. The fans are happy, you make money, and DLC can continually be released. It's not like it can't be released after a certain period, they can release it any time so there's no time pressure. Maybe Quan Chi will be downloadable, since he's one of the main MK characters not in the game as playable, as he appears in story mode, confirmed by noob.com. I'd accept it as long as he doesn't have his neck stretch, which he wouldn't as Boon has said that's his least favourite fatality ever.

I really don't think that Baraka was a great choice. Sure he was different from all the others but seriously we should of had all the originals in there. Thats including Goro and Reptile. Ah well its only a gamer after all I can still plays as Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Liu Kang, Raiden and Batman.
