Ok so I’m having serious trouble defeating Kintaro at the end of MK II, I’ve finished this game in the arcade before but I haven’t played the game since I was a kid…sort of got side tracked by newer MK releases and only recently decided to go back and visit my good ol friends MK I, II and 3 and everything is beautiful until I get to Kintaro. So I could really use some help here, if anyone knows of little tricks or tips on how to beat him it would be much appreciated…oh and I’m playing with Scorpion if that makes any difference.

all I do is block and jump kick hope that works cuz it did for me

There's This Way That Ed Boon Talked About ..... You Have TO Choose Kitana ... All You Need To Do Is Walk Away From Kintaro Until He Walks To You Then Simply Do The Levitate Special Move .... After He Is In The Air Jump Kick Him Or Do Whatever You Want To Damage Him.
Repeat This Until He Dies

Thanx for the advice guys... I'll definitely try the Kitana thing. I was still kinda hoping that i could do this with Scorpion though. The simple jump kick combined with the occasional teleport attack does get him pretty low but I just cannot beat him. I really cant remember this being so difficult. But thanx again for the tips.

Just watch TMK's videos on beating Kintaro, he does it with every character.

Awesome, thanx for the heads up on the vid VainZiler it really helped a lot...got it done now with Scorpion, Sub zero, Kitana, and Liu Kang...suppose the real thanx should go to TMK (thanx)
