i've always been a great fan of mk ever since it came out, but to be honest i am pretty clueless about the dc universe. i know a lot of the popular characters like batman and superman but guys like shazam and deathstroke and darkseid i have no idea who they are. can anyone shed some knowledge on these guys mk is gonna whoop on

Further proof wikipedia cannot be trusted: MK vs DC is not MK8, it's a side game.
If you really want to know about the DC cast, try going over to DCU fan forums and have a look around.
