Could someone actually tell me what going gold means, I though at first it might mean a special edition but as I remember one of those has already been announced. I've read it three times now and still can't see what it means... could be due to the fact I've had little sleep recently.

When a game goes gold it means the final copy has been produced, the "gold" copy is then sent off to the game manufacturers to reproduce the disc for distributing. In other words, the game is completed and is now being mass-produced.

I appreciate the level setting in this screen cap. Man, I can't wait to hear the feedback this game will get, positive and negative from MK fans throughout.
Though I eased up a bit about it, only a bit, I still have my doubts.
