so, there are a lot of games coming out this month, and I was wondering if any of you have looked into the new installment to the Tomb Raider series coming out.
there's a demo on the Xbox Live Marketplace, if anyone's interested in giving it a whirl. the graphics are great, the controls are easy to use, and from what I understand, the story is phenomenal.
I know I should be psyched up for MK vs. DCU, but I keep finding myself looking for Underworld videos on YouTube instead! I really hope you guys give this game a chance.

I have never been a fan of Tomb Raider...but the new TR chick caught my eye...apprently she was a secritary before landing the job of promoting the latest TR game...her name is Alison Carroll.

the game, guys! what about the game?
granted, the girl is hot. I'll be the first to admit that Crystal Dynamics has handpicked two of the most gorgeous girls I've ever seen for Lara's models for the past two games... but that's not what I'm playing them for.
the physics for this game are amazing. the little things are what make it for me: swatting at tall foliage, picking up pole-like objects and inserting them into slots to reach new areas, flipping and jumping like a little monkey wearing hotpants... unf.
seriously, you guys. check this demo out. Crystal Dynamics has done a fantastic job breathing new life into this series. I think y'all will enjoy it, even if it's just for a bit of sweet eye candy.

yeah i played the demo ... seems this is the best tomb raider of all .... man this month has the best games..
the controls of Tomb Raider is astonishing .... and the graphics too ..
really looking forward to buying this game.

this game will be released on multiple platforms - PC included. there's a PC demo out there as well, if you're interested.
to understand the story, you need to play both Legend and Anniversary, because from what I understand, they both tie into this game. the basic, non-spoilery gist is, though, that Lara is going after Thor's Hammer, which is said to have the power to demolish mountains and even kill gods.

the demo is great, isn't it? it's actually a really long demo, as well. took me around 45 minutes to finish it, which I thought was great.
I'm so happy that Crystal Dynamics (who I'm pretty sure did the Legacy of Kain series, btw) revamped this entire series. the controls are perfect, in my opinion. I only hope that my husband and I get a PS3 soon so I can use my preferred controller for this game. (not to mention, there are a few different games I'd like to try on PS3... Heavenly Sword, anyone?)
I know I seem like I'm selling this game really hard, but honestly, it's shaping up to be a fantastic-looking game, and I think I'm gonna enjoy the hell out of it, so I wanted to share my joy with all of you guys.

yeah Heavenly Sword ..... i finished it like .. 3 times , because its soo
great .
Heavenly Sword is one of the games that i dont get bored from .. in a hundred years .... even Uncharted : Drake's Fortune .
if i get to rate heavenly sword ... i'll rate it .... 8/10

Ive thought about getting it. The hype for the game was so low though and even now that its realeased you dont hear anything about it.

let's keep in mind that hype isn't everything. let's not forget the Halo series.

I wasnt trying to imply hype is a good thing, but when a games is hyped, good or not, it gets you excited and interested in it
