No its not, it has alreadt been confirmed as a spin-off title so it's not part of the continuity.

MK vs. DCU is not a canon game as of right now. it's more of a side project to keep fans satisfied (and to probably test out newer and different fighting engines, for that matter) until the next installment of Mortal Kombat is released.
people are gonna keep debating this until the end of time, though, so I'm really not sure why I'm repeating what so many other people have said... again.

Ed Boon already said that this was a side project that HAS NOTHING to do with the MK story therefore it doesn't get a number (much like the apin-off resi evils). Also don't double post noobcage*.
