We are entering a fascist era of information control in Australia.
Who's pumped for this?
Sparkle is 'euphoric' about this prospect. He escaped from communist and from socialist countries respectively for this very reason, and now he's seeing this shit unfold in front of his fucking eyes... again. Conroy, our information minister, is an absolute tool, who has no fucking idea what he's meddling with.

Why? Because...
1. The government would like to win the hearts and minds of the Christian faction.
2. He doesn't know anything about internet technology.
3. Our government is partially Communist.
He dug himself a hole he can't get out of. No matter how you look at it, he will lose. If he dumps the idea, he will get crucified for wasting taxpayer's money. If he is pig headed enough to continue with the plan, he will be eaten alive once everyone knows that this whole scheme is a big fuckup.

Errrr... your lead wants to censor the internet for children? A service that can be done by the people themselves if they wanted it? I have never used the term more suiting than ever before but this Conroy is a fucknut. Don't you have freedom of media legislation in Australia that could stop this from happening?

I haven't read the entire site yet, but from what I understood, it's not gonna be just children that are censored, but everyone in Australia that uses the internet.
how exactly is it that this man was put into office and allowed to do this kind of thing? aren't we all big boys and girls who know better than this kind of crap by now?

My ISP will be trialling the filtering technology as of the 24th. They are doing it to gather enough stats to prove the whole scheme is flawed.
