First, let me apologize for posting my previous costume topic in the wrong forum...  I could've sworn i posted it over here. Thanks for not guttin' me for it.
Anywho, I just got a new digital camera and took these pics of me in my 89 Keaton Batman suit and though I'd share it with all yous. hehehe.. no more blurry ugly pics.

squee! I'm so fangirling you right now. I absolutely adore the cape. this entire costume is so incredibly impressive! and the facial expressions are spot on. the attention to the small details is just great! overall, I'm just floored. you're amazing. <3

Thanks for the comments guys. To answer a few questions, I made the cape, gloves, boots and under suit. My buddy actually made the urethane body armor and legs. The mask was a cheap 25 dollar cowl which I completely modified internally to get as close to accurate movie looks which required lots of patience and a heat gun.
Im going to receive the real 89' mask replica from an Australian costume maker later next week. I'll post pics of it once it gets here. =]

You know the funny thing is, when I wear the thing, Im not exactly burning up inside it, but i do prespire a lot after hours of wearing it, like on Halloween night for instance. After a Halloween party, when I got home, it took several minutes to pull it off my frame. I had to wash this sucker a few times in a bath tub and let it air dry.
It gets hot for a few short minutes before it begins to get cold. Well, at least when youre out doors.
Oh and no Robin with this version of Batman lol 
But I am sooo for Chibi parading with me in her catwoman or Poison Ivy costume!! heeellllllss yea!! hahahahah ^_^

Funny that you mention that you couldn't be Robin because there has been a female Robin. Although she didn't last as long as the other three and was tourchered to death after trying to stop a gang war she err... stated. Although in true comic book fashion she never really died. She now stalks the current Robin.
