Yeah, I'm hoping to get the Baraka part done soon enough. It'll probably take forever before I get the whole sleeve done though. Chances are it's going to be expensive, so it'll be quite a while before I can afford it all.
Not too sure where to go after Baraka though. There are so many classic characters to choose from. I'd like to have Shao Kahn standing on to top of the mountain (like the way he is on the MKII line-up screen) at the top of the sleeve. It's still early days though, so I'm not sure yet.
No joy with that avatar. I think there might be a problem with my photobucket. I'll just work with the one I have now instead.

Yeah I always thought the Shao Kahn mountain would make a great tattoo myself. Baraka is agreat way to start man.
It sucks that tatts are so dear nowadays. Finding a suitable artist is reall hard too. You want a really good one who can do what you want but won't cost you your teeth lol

I was also thinking of getting Milleena as the next piece. I'd like to get here slightly above and behind Baraka, looking over his shoulder. That way it'll give the effect that she is always watching him.
Yip, he is bleeding from the spots where the blades retract. It's on the original pic from MK:D, but it's kinda hard to spot because it's a very dark image.
I wasn't really intending on getting the tattoo done so quick, but I had a wee stroke of luck. Each week we do a lotto synicate in work, and we were lucky enough to win a few quid on it a couple of weeks ago. First thing I thought when I heard the good news was "Fuck yeah! Now I can afford my new MK piece!"
The guy who inked my is a fantastic artist. He told me that he loves doing comic book/ video game style tattoos because of the amount of detail involved in them, but he rarely gets orders for them. So he cut me a sweet deal on mine. Took three sittings to complete it. I'll be going back to this guy for tattoos in the future.

The big fucking plans break down something like this:
Above and behind Mileena and Baraka is going to be the bridge over The Pit. With one or two pillars coming down behind them, and (hopefully) a body or two hanging off the pillars spikes. Coming out from behind the pit, and rising above it, will be the mountain from the MKII battle plan with the words "It's in us all" wrote along it in blood. On top of that mountain, of course, will be the emperor of Outworld himself- Shao Kahn.
The whole piece will be tied together with a few souls and stuff like that.
...at least that's the plan.
