I know I'm gonna get flamed for this, but the worst Mortal Kombat game of all for me would be...Mortal Kombat 2. Yes, I hate MK2 even more than MK Mythologies: Sub-Zero. I'm sure Special Forces is even worse but I haven't played it so I don't count it. Why do I dislike MK2? Because it's SO FLIPPING CHEAP!!! It's so difficult I can't even pass the first fight by myself. It's like 3 times harder than UMK3, but how come no one was complaining about MK2's difficultly? The FARTHEST I can get (with help btw) is to the fourth opponent. After I stopped playing it, I made it my least fav MK game (MKM:SZ being second, at least I can pass the first level in it). The ONLY redeming feature of it is Two-Player mode, in which the fights are fair. Armageddon (my fav MK game) isn't the worst, it just has repetivive fatalities, that's all. But MK2 is almost unplayable, seriously! MK:SM's did have an dumb story, but at least it's fun. It (MK2) could've been good: the ONLY flaw was the difficultly, but that ruined the rest of the game for me personally.

I'll agree MK2 can be pretty tough. I've never beaten Kintaro.
When you fight non-bosses you can usually predict what the AI is going to do up til about fight 10. Another thing I don't like about MK2 is that Scorpion's scissors takedown doesn't really have a practical use. Putting the minor annoyances of MK2 aside, it's still my favorite from the original games.
My least favorite of all time would have to be Mortal Kombat I on the SNES.
It was censored and glitchy, and compared to the genesis and arcade versions, the graphics sucked. Also Liu Kang is the only character that can get the fatality bonus and the stage bonus at the same time.

I don't know if anybody agrees, but MK, MK 2, MK 3, Ultimate MK 3, MK Trilogy, MK Mythologies and MK 4 were all great games....... Everything after MK 4 sucked, in my opinion.
It wasn't even MK after that, it was a very sick, bloody fighting game with MK characters, and a way more complex story than it should have...

Specail Forces of course.
MK3 for the absence of Scorpion.
MK vs DCU although it was fun in some parts it wasn't the MK we were hoping for.
Bring on Attack of the Gods! (I believe MK9 will ahve something to do with the Elder Gods because Ed Boon spells shit backwards all the time. So dog= God. Might turn out to be true!)
