i feel like they shouldve jus left fatalities out of the game. i'd rather have no fatalities than to have a bunch of'em that are basically all jus neck breaks. that aint what a fatality is. they did us dirty with this one

The fatalities are not that bad. I actually liked most of the fatalities, the only ones I didn't like were kano's.

i mean theres some that are good, like subs, scorps fire...but i mean the majority are jus neck breaks and takin someone in tha air n droppin'em

I think although the fatalities are not the best ever made, they aren't that bad. It was better to include them otherwise this game would have always been known as the MK game that had no fatalities.

Yeah that would be really --!#$@-- if there were no fatalities, I agree some what there are a couple that aren't that great including one of raidens especially, but 4 the most part I dont think they're that bad.

Agreed, the violence in this game has already been down toned heavily in comparison to its predecessors, If the fatalities were taken out, they could have just called this game...DCU, featuring characters from MK. So, personally i'm quite happy that they did include as many MK elements as possible. (just missing a few characters if you ask me).

True, some of them do suck, but some were really good too.
The Joker's for example, was probably the funniest fatality in game and is perhaps the funniest non-parody fatality in MK history.
And I liked the return of Liu Kang's arcade drop as well

I agree that it would've sucked balls if it didn't have Fatalities but yeah a few sucked. But I did like a few e.g. Baraka's kick and stab, Joker's Gun and Shang Tsung's Soul Steal (the paling of the skin was real kreepy!)
But MK8/9 should leave us at least a bit happier.

Every game has had weak fatalities. Some will take the stage, and others will always just feel 'meh'. I'm glad they left them in, MK is just not MK without them.

I agree. In MK1 Liu Kang's fatality wasn't the greatest, MK2 both of Raiden's fatalities weren't good. MK3 Jax's fatalities made no sense, and you could go on, naming fatalities that didn't fit in. But Mortal Kombat is recognized for the ability to gruesomely finish off your opponents.
Taking out the fatalities wouldn't help, because if people complain how the fatalities suck in this game, soon they'd regret it and eventually be complaining if they were taken out.

I disagree with you 3cyborgninjas. I love Raiden's MK2 fatalities especially his exploding uppercut. Id love to see that again in MK8/9.
But about the fatalities. I think we would all agree Liu Kang's MK1 fatality and the not so good MK vs DCU fatalities look awesome kompared to that fuckin AWFUL Quan Chi fatality from MKDA. Now that is the worst fatality EVER!
