Yeah hopefully the next mortal kombat game ed boon makes is the one we want which is real mortal kombat not mortal kombat vs so and so. But yeah i still come here haven't been on since may to check out tmk but i'll come on more often.

Blame it on MK vs DCU for my departure of the MK world.
I came in today as soon as I heard through the grape vine about WB buying out Midway. I knew TMK would have something posted about it.
Sure enough, he didn't disappoint.
A lot of us older MK fans here took off the moment MK vs DCU hit the shelves. And a small legion of brand new fans came in. And I can clearly tell the difference between us. lol.
I still have love for MK1 and MK2 and even Ultimate MK3.
But we're a dying species now and we must make way for all the newbies to enjoy the new more light hearted MK stuff.
I'll just sit back and watch as my love for MK completely dies out.
LOL. Wow, I just depressed myself. Sorry!

Don't get me started with college im taking a gap year. I had to travel and awful lot of miles on 4 busses and then work and finally get 1 last bus home

Damn, Doug, Sparkle, Dark Specter AND Vain all posting in the same thread. I'm all nostalgic. It's like a little reunion. Now we just need to get Krave in here to make bad jokes about our names.
Anywho. Yeah, it's all MK DCU's fault. I remember when it wasn't even announced yet; Armageddon was pissing off all the fans and after that, no one had much to say about it. When MK DCU got announced it gave TMK a little air time, but now, there's just nothing to say at all. No (Serious MK fan) liked it, no DLC to speculate, it just kinda... I hate to say it... killed off the remainder of the franchise. I think it's best left to say Taven killed Blaze and it killed all of our favorite characters... end of story. *tear drop*
