Everybody would say that the cheapest character in MK4 is Goro, of course. But I'm not thinking about that. I'm thinking about the normal characters. And, in my opinion, it's Jarek.
His Bonebreaker could be done a milion times in a row, and is not that blockable as it should be.
And his cannonball is also VERY annoying when CPU is Jarek. It hits you every time when you do anything!
I have played with all characters for a lot of time, and I think that Jarek is the cheapest by far.
What do you think?

I think it is Scorpion because he has an easy maximum damage combo.
All you have to do is spear your opponent, use the throw thingy where scorpion breaks their arm, spear again, and repeat.

I think Shinnok is the cheapest normal character in the game. He moves way to quickly and is always throwing thing at you. He doesn't even take the time to mimic movesets. 
Or does Shinnok also not count?

Jarek though.....kano's lazer fatality....seriously????!!!!
I wish they would stop giving Black Dragon members Kano's moves and weapons....annoys me quite a bit.

Yeah but thats done alot in MK games man.
I mean Jade was basically Kitana, Smoke and Noob were Scorpion. But I know were you are coming from.

But you gotta give them a break - it was their first 3D attempt at a fighting game. Plus, when I saw the game played in the arcades and on consoles, I thought it was weak. When I saw the game on the PC (many years ago), strangely, I was blown away.
As for characters, Tanya was cheaply done. They couldve done a better job with her. Shinnok could've been a little bit more of a challenge but they were right in making Quan Chi difficult to put up with. I think that Fujin should've flown up and outta the arena when he wins his fights - not the floating Sindel crap from MKIII.
Goro is probably the best character in the entire game - thats right! you heard it here first!. They shouldve made more fatalities with Goro - like when he grabs you with his lower two arms and pounds ya constantly with his top two arms - that should continue until your head falls back or the entire torso comes loose. The guy has 4 arms, that means twice as many possibilities than with a character with 2.
Also, if Kintaro (not Motaro) was in MK4, it would be much better. Unfortunately polygon limits really keep it from expanding.

Well, I like the 3D attempt more than the 'real' 3D thing.
Kintaro is my favorite monster in MK, but Goro was easier to make, and he wasn't around for a lot of time, since MK1.
And Goro didn't have a fatality cause
1) Monsters didn't have fatalities before.
2) You're actually a lot less pissed about Goro if he only kills you, and more if he kills you AND fucking dismembers you.
