For me it's the mighty Ermac, my favourite character is Scorpion but for me the most underated MK character is Ermac

I totally agree with you, Quan Chi is my favourite sorcerer in the MK universe, i remember seeing hin for the first time and saying to myself wow, be a great fight between Quan Chi and Shang Tsung, go Quan Chi

Definately Ermac. He started as nothing but became one of the most important characters in the storyline in the past few games (mainly Deception). He is usually not mentioned in a character list despite being so important and even having a character clone of him regarding his powers (Kenshi). It'll be a shame when they come out with the survivor of Armageddon list knowing that so many important characters that never got their glory are gone forever. Ermac, most likely, included.

Well, from the classics, I give the title of most underrated character to Quan Chi. He is one of the more mysterious characters of them all because not a lot of information is given on him, and he is one of the darkest sorcerers of the MK Universe. The second place title goes to Shinnok. For the current titles, I give the title of most underrated to Taven. Everyone just assumes him to be a weak character based upon his move list, but if used right, he can be a lethal character, and that is the same with all characters. I give second place to Daegon.

Ermac? Quan Chi? They have a rather nice following really, nothing compared to MK icons like Scorpion and Sub-Zero, but they're far from underrated.
In my eyes, the most underrated is Stryker. Storyline wise, he doesn't have too much going for him, he's just a normal guy that got dragged into an interrealm war. But his move set throughout the series has been a deadly force to contend with, giving him plenty of options for both keep an enemy on the ground and stomping them in the air.

I would have to say either Ermac or Quan Chi. I myself am not a fan of Quan Chi, maybe because of his lack of appearance in games, but to me, he seems more of an inconvenience to the story than an actual character...

Most underrated? I would say Khameleon. She was only in the N64 version of MKT, and the Wii version of MKA. She had some good female ninja moves, but she hasn't seen a lot of screen time.

I don't know if Havik has a large following or not, but I like him.
Most underrated from the 2D games is probably Stryker.

I must say Stryker, definitely. No one liked him cause he was the only one normal in the whole game! Of course, Mokap was also human and doing a normal job...but common, he's a kind of a joke, really... 
So, I'm sticking with Stryker in this one...

Classic games: Johnny Cage (everyone hates him but I love him and hate him lol)
I agree with Stryker but I also never pick him I just don't like playing as a him.
Quan Chi for his mystique I wana know more about the guy! (Although I still think Shang Tsung is kooler)
New games: Don't really know. But I can't stand Kobra. Hes a waste of a character in my opinion. Sorry to say but hes the Stryker of the 21st Century! lol
