Well, personally, I'd be thrilled to see those two show up.
However, I agree that it's far too early and we need to take it with a grain of salt.

I don't think its gonna happen now dude. Ed has stated that himself on his twitter.
Quan Chi and Harley Quinn was finished. Others apart from Doomsday and Kung Lao I heared about were Noob Saibot, Lobo and Reptile. Oh and Aquaman. They probably thought about doing the other characters that "vanished" when the rage thing happened which were Johnny Cage, Goro and Robin.

True, but it is still interesting and had been the only remote news on the MK front for quite a while.

I've heard similar ideas around the web about the next MK installment being a sort of "Clash Of The Gods" kinda situation. Also the fact that Boon and co had chuckled about code-naming MK9 Attack Of The Dogs has got to make you wonder if they are simply using this as an anagram.
Anyways, DLC is certainly a long time coming. I expected Quan Chi to be released fairly soon after the game hit the selves, because his character model was already featured in the story mode...

Yeah man iv alreadyt posted to Ed that I think it will be Attack of the Gods and other shit but he said that he cant touch the subject lol. Yeah I was surprised that Quan Chi wasn't released it would've been so easy! But no disrespect to the team its DC's fault lol

Yeah, I can't imagine him emailing folks with the info. It's probably top secret shit at the moment 
Quan Chi would have been easy as sin to release. Just strap a move set and an arcade ending to him, and he's pretty much good to go. It's disappointing that we still havn't seen any DLC yet.
....And, yeah, I blame DC too

It's defo long over-due though. There are plentyof games that came out after MK Vs DCU that have already released DLC. Tomb Raider Underworld, and Prince Of Persia are sporting downloadables, yet they were released months after the latest MK was.

Yeah it does annoy me a little I guess but I just got so sick of waiting I just didn't care lol Another thing that annoys me apart from DLC is the lack of games with trophies (ps3's achievements basically). That is a shame!

I don't have a PS3, I've been playing it on the Xbox 360, so I don't know which way trophies work. Does Mk Vs DCU have trophies on the PS3? If so, are they unlocked the same way as on the Xbox?

Yeah man they work exactly the same way as achievements and yes mk vs dc has got trophies. Its a great feature and I just wish more games would have them on ps3.

So you unlock one each time you complete a set of kombo challenges, the first time you beat through story mode, by completing arcade mode with all the fighters on one of the two opposing sides, and so on?...

Kombo Khallenges were hard 
I only beat Baraka's and Jax's. Couldn't do the last Captain Marvel one no matter how hard I tried! So close

That's cool that the trophies work the same way as the achievements. That way, nobody is getting more, or missing out with he game. Must agree though, some of the kombo challenges are very difficult.
