Iv never been to Drogheda man but I think I can pick out the accent you have lol
Im from Newry in Down but I live in Warrenpoint atm (a fuckin hole lmao)
Iv never had the opportunity to play mk in arcades man were did you play when u were younger? was there much of a scene over here or was it just the odd mk machine here and there?
My friend could be hookin us both us both up with machines though  mk1 and 2

I don't think I've been to Down. Heard that it's a nice spot though.
There used to be an arcade in Drogheda that packed some great machines back in the day. It had all the MKs (which was 1-3 at the time), Metal Slug, Streetfighter II (and various other versions of that game, lol), Killer Instinct, and T2 Arcade, and plenty of other classics back in the day. I probably spent more cash there than I'm worth, lol. Unfortunately though, since the arcade bizz went to hell, that old pace just packs one-armed-bandits now instead. A lot of good memories there.
I've alread got an MK2 machine

Heard about it in a pub one night. One of my friends told me that they had seen some dude trying to sell this thing online, buy nobody seemed to be buying it, because nobody had enough room to store it. I don't have a whole lot of room in my house either, but I couldn't let an offer like that pass me by. It cost me 450 euro for the machine, and just the price of fuel spent on the way to and from Dublin to collect it

Cheers, man. Yeah, I knew I'd never get the chance for anything like this again, so I had to snap it up (although it did call for getting a loan outta the bank, and took a wee while to pay off the debt because I was unemployed at the time). It was well worth it. Owning one of these was always one of my fantasies when I was a kid, so it's cool that it came trough all these years later.
It also makes for a great party piece too, as my friend line up and I lay the smackdown on them

I'd have to get it fixed up first The player one joystick has been giving me shit, and refuses to jump forward. I think it might have to be replaced.

Yeah player 2 can be pretty annoying. Any time I'm playing (usually as Kitata) and I come up against the same character my player changes colour and I get mighty confused at the beginning of the fight
