I don't think I've ever seen this brought up, on any MK site for that matter.
Fan edits have become really popular over the past few years, a few reaching almost legendary status, like Star Wars: The Phantom Edit (wiki). The people who do these do the editing so well, you can't even tell. They even adjust the background music and ambiance so everything blends and flows.
I'm sure most of us as MK fans can look at the movie and see where they screwed up. Kahn and Raiden being brothers, poor editing, cheesy dialog, etc. A lot of these things could be easily edited to create a better experience and to re-craft the story to better fit the MK canon.
I was wondering if anyone has ever come across a good fan edit of the movie, or if anyone would like to possibly see one done?

I would like to see one done for the Annihilation, of course! A very good idea, but unfortunately, we don't know anyone who could do the job.
Btw, the first movie doesn't need ANY adjustment! I like it the way it is, even if it could be done better.

Yea, the reason for me posting this was to create interest. Maybe if the interest is big enough, someone who can do the editing will see the "demand" and create one.

I don't know.
For Annihilation I would have liked to see a great number of scenes removed.
But then again, if those scenes were edited somehow, they might be good.
A soundtrack edit would be cool for the first movie.

Yeah the first movie is fine on its own I wouldn't like to see it change like the star wars re-editions. The Annihilation idea is good though. Id would have been better if the dude playing Shao Kahn was the one from Conquest he was badass!
