You didn't play KI? Dude, get your hands on the original one (probably be able to download it in this day and age). It was a damned masterpiece. I remember getting it for Xmas back in 95 (or was it 96?) instead of MK3. Both game were released at the same time, and KI was, by far, the more superior fighting amongst the two.

Better than MK3?  I doubt it but ill give it a shot.
As soon as I get MAME workin ill get the Arcade version ^-^

And, of course, the classic "C-C-C-Combo Breaker!!"
The death moves in KI were terrible, but the fighting was amazing. Combos were where KI's charm really lay.
