Yeah Tobias left after Mythologies Sub-Zero when they went to work on Special Forces *shutter*
He was unhappy with the game and wanted to persue his love of comic books.
You can't take anything away from the guy like.

Do you think if he worked on Special Forces it would be better? and what ideas did he come up with in the games before that?
i don't even think that the comic is that good.

Yeah he would've made MK:SP better! Like in MKM:SZ He is the one who had the idea for all the little speacial items you could pick up etc.
In the other games basically the oriental feel was his idea, taking inspiration from movies like "Big Trouble In Little China" *the exploding fatalities and Shang Tsung's old form was taken from that*. The whole Lin Kuei and Shirai-Ryu was his idea....basically most of the kool back stories from the older games was his idea as he is big into Martial Arts and Chinese Mythology. Plus he designed Goro!
Ed was basically the programmer back then who threw in a good couple of ideas also. Respect to the whole team for their hard work and dedication.
MK9....(or MK8 to be canon-based) I hope to see a serious tone....proper serious voice acting. The fatalities are supposed to be BRUTAL!
Emmm friendships and babalities are supposed to be making a return.
So that'll be fun.
Its nicknamed attack of the dogs but knowing Ed's way of reversing words etc I think it will involve the Elder Gods...."Attack of the Gods!"
I don't want Black Dragon members to have Kano moves or weapons. So each fighter should have their own identity.
I could go on forever like....what about you man?

Like wise. That's pretty unoriginal with the black dragon. Kabal's original though and kobra...he can just die....
as for the dogs gods thing..i think you're right. Ed has to make everything a riddle..

Iv posted on Ed's (and the rest of the team's) twitter about the Gods thing.
All have replied saying they can't touch the subject so Im convinced that its true. I just hope this'll be the MK of MKs....based on the last few games.

Maybe someday
we will have an MK Game
With Every Feature ever in an MK Game with some new ones.
i personally like the pick up and throw Skull idea back in MK4
and Stab your weapon in ur opponent slowly draining their life. like in MKDA.
Would be Awesome to have Every Feature Ever in 1 MK Game

i heard that some dude got banned from the midway forums a while back for mentioning the gods idea, so there's gotta be some truth behind it somewhere.

Banning someone for mentioning that sin't fucking kool. He's a fan after all.
That pissed me off a little.
Now that you mention Kobra looking like Ken Masters thats even more reason for me to hate the fucker. A shite steriotypical named MK kharacter that looks like a Street Fighter character......it just isn't rite.

He really does look like a Ken rip-off. Marial arts outfit, similar build, and blond hair. And, if I'm not mistaken, both characters are american too...

If what we are thinking (the gods idea) is true, the possabilities for new features could be endless. They could knock each other from on realm to another in the middle of a fight... actually, I'd quite like to see that happening
