Which of Shang Tsung's looks are best?
Old sorcerer? like in MK1 and the beginning of Shaolin monks
Black haired in Sub-Zero like outfit in MK2 and later in Shaolin monks
Or brown haired and bearded like in armageddon?

The best, imo, is Tsung's primary costume in MKDA.
I think it was well thought out, and designed very carefully, unlike Hsu Hao's costume. I think Hsu Hao came last on the design list, around the time eveyone in the MKTeam was getting tired and wanted to go home.

Id have to say old man Shang Tsung from the original.
It was just so kreepy...this old sorceror morphing into every other kharacter and firing the extinguished souls of past warriors at you.....BadAss! ^-^

Agree with Riyakou. I've always loved Tsung's MK:DA costume. The beard and long hair combo looks great on him.

I also liked the look of his hair in MK vs DCU.
Back to black but tinted grey to add that "old" feel to him...again BadAss.

I think that's how he should've looked in MK2.
That short hair stuff just wasn't working for me. Tsung should always have long hair.

haha yeah you can just tell that krafty bastard has tricks up his sleeves and ways to get out of everything!
I love the kharacter. I believe he should never be absent from a game. After all he is referred to as the "constant evil" in MK.

Lol, brilliantly said, Razer. Yeah Tsung is probably my all time favorite MK character. I've just always loved the bad guys in these games. But, yeah, his get-up does make you think that he is constantly two steps ahead of his opponent.

Yeah an all time fav for me too. False alliances with the other bad guys too. Hes always looking out for himself lol
Id like to see him get older for the next game......hey wait a minute Blaze's power made him turn old in Armageddon's opening so maybe he will be in MK8/9

I like him better younger-looking, like Bruce Locke's Shang Tsung.
The gray hair makes him seem a bit like Cervantes de Leon, imo.

Bruce Locke was really cool in Conquest as was Jeff Meek as Shao Kahn (and Raiden). Quan Chi was a pure pimp in it too lmao Awesome.
With that being said I don't think Tsung with pure black hair and being young is a good move. We've seen him like that since MK2. Hes one of the few kharacters that had a dramatic makeover. Id just like to see them bring him back to his original image. I mean I loved seeing he original Cervantes Soul Edge swords brought back too. I like the old shit lol

First off, I love Cervantes, as well as Isabella Valentine.
It's just that I don't want Shang Tsung looking like anyone but himself, and if he's buff with gray hair and wrinkles, he's gonna look like Cervantes.
I do agree with you to some point, though, about liking the old stuff. A lot of things that were great in Mortal Kombat need to return, i.e. Tsung's ability to shape shift. I also want to see Choose Your Destiny make a comeback. It's one of the atributes that gave Mortal Kombat it's originality, and to not have it just makes MK seem like every other fighting series.

Dunno man if anything Cervates would look like Shang Tsung sice MK was released before Soul Edge. Just my opinion.
Choose Your Destiny would be a kool addition to the next MK game. They need to start including the old MK shit into the new MK shit instead of making MK like Tekken etc. Mk was MK was MK and should remain MK. Fuck the imitators!
