The long hair makes sense.
But I remeber when MK2 first came out in the arcade, I was like who's that?
The kid playin was like thats Shang Tsung, Shoa Khan made him young again.
That shit blew my mind

Yeah I thought he was the best live action Tsung.
Plus hes the only one that actually turns into old Tsung!
Which makes him kooler to me aswell haha.

To me it always seemed like Tsung's DA-and-onwards look was just a younger version of his original look, as he had long hair and a --!#$@-- in the original from memory. Therefore it should have been the look he had in MK2 onwards.
On the topic of getting old, what about Sub-Zero in DA and his grey look?! I know some people blame the medallion but it was never officially explained.

In my own personal opinion, I think Philip Ahn M.D. played the superior Shang Tsung. Ho Sung Pak did a good job, and so did John Turk, but Philip Ahn M.D. I believe did the best. MKII Shang Tsung FTW!

That's fine. I do agree that John Turk played a great Shang Tsung. I don't have any objections there. I just think Philip Ahn played a better one.

I don't want Old Man Tsung, nor do I want a Shang Tsung with no hair.
John Turk did well, and it carried beyond MK3 to MKDA, and even MK vs DC.
John Turk and Bruce Locke are the best Tsungs ever!
