Shang Tsung in MK2 had hair. He just wore a hat.
I ain't saying John Turk wasn't a good Shang Tsung.
If I said he wasn't, I'd be lying.
I'm just saying I think Philip Ahn M.D. played the better one.
No disrespect Riyakou. This is only my opinion, and I respect your opinion.
I completely agree that John Turk was a good Shang Tsung, and a worthy successor to Philip Ahn M.D.

Hates an 'old fart' of a sorcerer, but loves a blind and gagged contortionist wielding fist-blades and wearing what can only be described as 'bondage gear' as his main outfit...

Anyway... back to topic.
I've always liked Shang Tsung in all of his appearances, though to pick a fave I'd have to go with DA+. It just fits him, especially how he uses the 'tricky' Shaolin styles of Snake and Crane (my Favorite Wu-Shu styles, though I'm more of a Valtudo myself..)

Voldo happens to be my favorite video game character, mind you.
Anyhoo, I'd have to agree with you on the matter of Tsung's costume.
Very well constructed. A beautiful costume. Still I'd rather prefer the "bondage gear" of Voldo, hance the track Gears of Madness.

Ok, the old Tsung that floated around in MK1 was kool, scary fighting him the first time - that's the one I prefer to fight against
MK2,3 Tsung was youthful, but not a look he needed.
MKDA Tsung was definitely an improvement. It would be better for him to get those streaks of white/grey. And he should keep the robes - they show wisdom and class.
I can understand that thinking about this evil kharacter, shang tsung, can make a person lose their sanity.
Voldo is one weird, twisted individual.

Voldo is sexy, and he is my best friend.
Anyhoo, Shang Tsung did make one hell of a boss in MK1. But I still prefer him as an accomplished warrior, rather than an old wizard.

I prefer Ho Sung Pak's version of Shang Tsung. I just love the ancient evil that the old Tsung seems to give off.
I actually liked Tsung's appearance in MK vs DCU with the graying of the hair and all. I hated his voice though and whats up with people calling him Shang Tsuuuuuuung  Annoys me.
Bruce Locke would be my favourite live-action Shang Tsung.

Old Fart vs Young Warrior.
Shang Tsung didn't even fight in MK1, at least not as himself. I think the MKDA Tsung would most definitely kick Old Fart's ass.

It's not Old Fart vs Young Warrior.
It's Old Fart With The Ability To Have Any Power At Any Time vs Young Warrior...
I still like the old one better, but MK2 Tsung still wins, even over MK3 (no offence, Turk).

A dummy similar to the Quan Chi dummy in Baraka's MK4 ending.
Yeah thats definietly what happened.
