...because after the MK series went into a coma and the doctors said that it might never wake up, I moved on over to SlayAlive.com and made it my home for the past year.
Anyone here like that series? Or anything Joss Whedon?

Ah, Buffy. Where would I be without her?
I'm a huge Buffy fan. Used to watch it on TV about 10 years ago, but I grew out of it. Then, about two years ago, I picked up the DVDs and became obsessed. Fantasticly written, excelently portrayed characters, and brilliant story-lines. I've even got the mark of Eyghon tattooed on my left arm.
Giles and Spike are probably my favorite characters, simply because they have so many layers. Dawn and Xander, would be my least favorites.

YES, I found a fellow fan!
Same here. I never really watched it when it was on the air though, but when I got the DVD's, I just became obsessed. I also follow the comics too.
My fav characters are Anya and Spike, as well as Buffy herself.
I really can't stand Xander. =)
But that's awesome you got the Eyghon tat! Any pics?

I haven't been following the comics (because they don't sell them around here) but I've read the first volume of Angel: After The fall. Really enjoyed it, but it was mighty short.
What are your favorite episodes, bro? Some of mine are Once More With Felling, Hush, Band Candy, and Lovers Walk.
I'm watching through the first season of Dollhouse (Whedon's new show) at the moment, and it seems quite good so far.

I watched the series when it was on but I haven't divuldged into DVDS, comic or video games. I though that after series 5 (and during to a point) it began to decline and most of the 7th I had a hard time watching.
Angel had a good run although towards the end it suffered from inconvienient comedy in places.

Season 7 was a bit of a downfall (mainly due to Buffy's character becoming less and less likable as the season went on), but it's still pretty good entertainment.

Unfortunately, no. As they don't sell it anywhere near where I live.
I was rewatching the final episodes of season 6 lately. I love the Dark Willow saga. It's perfectly written.

I've heard rumors of a new Buffy movie in the works. Unfortunately though, it won't be starring any of the cast from the TV show. So I ask y'all, what's the fucking point?
I've also heard rumors of a season 6 of Angel. I have my fingers crossed for this one.
