I wouldn't like to see Boon steal from anything. MK is MK, it doesn't need influencing by other fighting games, it just needs to find it's footing once again.

Agreed. The anticipation is really kicking in lately. I know most people are not too confident about the next one, and the internet is always full of nay-sayers, but I'm really excited about the fact that the MK is somewhere on the horizon. I've got high hopes that it will blow the last decade of MK games out of the water.

You say Shao Kahn sits on his ass whole day planning stuff?... If you've seen the MK Movie 2 (and I think you have), he doesn't appear really bright, now does he...
I think he's in that chair cause he's a lazy ass, and people entertain him by fighting to death.
Of course, that also became very boring, but now he can't do anything but to watch.
That's why he bought a mask (there were no glasses with drawn eyes on them) so nobody finds out he's actually sleeping...
