Earlier this year, I've started up Anatomy again, and at first I thought I was going to fail, again, then I realized something.
Despite the fact that MK vs DC was the first game in which the character's mouths actually moved, the body structure of the characters always remained good in appearance. I decided to study my anatomic drawing through MK characters, and I think I've made a breakthrough. Check it out:
Not really sure if this thread can go in this forum, but since I couldn't think of putting it anywhere else, I took a risk.
Question, though: Based on the image, do you guys think I should continue using MK as a palatte for developing my knowledge of the human body and my skills in drawing?

If you are studying real life anatomy, then studying/referencing real life people (photos) would probably be the best way to do it. The MK characters aren't bad but they are way to muscle-bound / bulky to be real.
If anything Metal Gear Solid has way more realistic-looking characters than most games.
First thing is to study real-life anatomy, and then once you have that down, you can start on stylized anatomy (usually best to study multiply styles you like). This will help you create your own unique visual style, and people will give you more credit for your work - as opposed to copying someone elses style.
Most importantly you have to be patient. I'm not and I always expect to just be able to do things straight away. But that's not the case with drawing, the more you practice the better you wil get.

Well said, mon ami.
I decided to use MK because the musculatory systems of the characters are very easy to see, which makes it easier for me to tell which muscle is which, rather than to just stare at the same five pictures all day.
But yeah, I do get what you're saying, and I recently learned that patience is very rewarding. Thanks for the advice.

Already made some before, along with Cage.
This here is Rain, though of course who can tell?
Quite crappy, but I've gotten better since.
In an attempt to show the human body sitting down, I drew Quan Chi.
I think it's the best of the three, well proportioned, kinda.
I would show a female, but tits galore! and I don't want folks complaining or begging me to show more, though that could be the case with these.
