A little topic that kame to mind while laying MK3 the other day.

Please name your fav Stage Fatalities from the Klassics (MK1-MK2-MK3/UMK3-MK4/Gold)
If you do not konsider MK4 as part of the klassics then just do up to UMK3.

I will also be starting the "Fav Modern MK Death Traps".
So please guys don't steal it lol

So here goes Razer's fav Stage Fatalities from the Klassic Mks:

-Mortal Kombat: The Pit (Obviously lol)

-Mortal Kombat II: Kombat Tomb

-Mortal Kombat 3: Shao Kahns Tower (aka The Belltower)

-Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3: Scorpions' Lair (Krispy! lol)

-Mortal Kombat 4/Gold: The Prison

Now its your turn Kombatants!!!!!

All the best,
Razer Scorpion

Lets see......

MK1 - The Pit (when using Liu Kang, so it counts as a fatality)

MK2 - The Dead Pool ("Oh wah?")

MK3 - The Subway (<-Boon/Tobias->)

UMK3 - Scorpion's Lair (Only one introduced in UMK3)

MK4 - The Prison (You spin me right round...)

The Pit I and II are my favorites. Still remember seeing The Pit I for the first time in the arcades, and being stunned by the gore. Still sends shivers down my spin now.

The Deadpool is also one of my favorites. When I was a kid, I tried and tried to knock my opponents into The Deadpool and the Pit II using regular uppercuts, but it just never worked. Took a while before I realised that there were character specific Pit moves. But still these wouldn't work on The Deadpool. You can imagine my delight when I finally discovered that all you had to do was hold LK and LP while smacking them with an uppercut in order to drop their ass into the acid.

I really dislike all the stage fatalities after MKII (not including the death traps in later games).

Really man? The Belltower in MK3 was awesome I thought.
Although I think everyone hates The Pit 3 lol

I love the Acid Bath (always do the *awww* lmao). But when I had to choose between it and the Kombat Tomb........play the PS3 Arcade version, turn the bass on your tv up and max the volume. Pop that fatality and FUCK! That was BRUTAL!
And seeing them fall beck down while both players held down was awesome.

All the best,
Razer Scorpion

Always thought the holding Down thing was a myth untill I got my MKII arcade cab. Now every time I pull that move, I instantly hold Down on both sticks to make up for all the years that I didn't think it was real, lol.

I never trusted it.

But I didn't need to. The folks I ever played with in Mk2 were Baraka, Kung Lao, Baraka, and Baraka.

And Noob Saibot.

My personal favorite origional stage fatality is the classic MK1 pit.

If you couldn't figure out the proper steps away from the foe for a fatality or the combo, or didn't want to risk doing the "wussy punch/kick of death",WHAM!, do the one uppercutt and your foe falls into the spikes.

Classic and simple fun.

The Deadpool is my favorite.
A nice clean death from a highly corrosive pool of sulfuric acid.
Ah, lovely.
