Exactly like the Fav MK Stage Fatalities topic.
But this time please pick your fav Modern Death Trap from Deception up to Armageddon. If you Konsider MK4 as part of the Modern Mks then include it here also. You kould also include Shaolin Monks for a laugh.
So here goes Razer's Fav Modern MK Death Traps:
-MK Deadly Alliance: (N/A)
-MK Deception: Slaughter House
-mk Shaolin Monks: Kano's Death (Technically not a Death Trap but its so like one)
-Armageddon: The Belltower/Shao Kahn Arena (Spikes)
So its your turn abain amigos.
All the best,

This should be fun...*insert maniacal laughter here*....
MKD - Dark Prison (I may be able to hold off the spikes.....crap)
MKA - Wastelands (Oh please, God of MK, let me fly over that wall......*SPLAT*)
MK:SM (Even though I have only seen fatality videos) - Baraka's death in story mode (Might as well.)

Personally, I dislike the Dark Prison death trap. This is because the enemy explodes instead of being crushed. It's a great idea, but looks cheap in it's execution.
I do, however, love the Belltower. The rat running away with you limbs in it's mouth is the icing on a gore covered cake.
The Sky Tower in MK:D is also one of my favorites. The fact that there are a few drops before the fatal one, really makes for some great fights. _________________ Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen!

Yeah the Dark Prison Death Trap did look a bit cheap.
And the Sky Tower......awesome but I dislike the explosion at the end.
I would've preferred an MK2 The Pit 2 splat lol
Deception had some badass Death Traps man it was kinda hard to choose.
Yin-Yang Island was awesome too.
All the best,

It would have been cool if the Yin Yang snake trees served as a Death Trap aside from the Puzzle Kombat Fatality.

Yeah, I agree there. It's propably my least favorite background from MK:D, but they snake trees attacking the players would have made if infinitely more interesting. _________________ Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen!

Am I the only one who liked Ying-Yang Island then?
Fair enough it could've been bigger etc but the idea was really kool to me.
Not to mention it freaked me out the first time I played it lol

I thought Yin Yang Island was pretty kool, especially since its death Trap had your victim being devoured by pirhanas.

Okay, here goes.
-MK Deception: Sky tower. I'm just so fond of Havok yelling "THIS IS GONNA SUCK!"
-MK Shaolin Monks: Mmm... I like the Zombie/blood statue-eating trees of Reptile's forest. "Combo combo combo OMNOMNOMNOM!"
-Armageddon: I gotta go with the wasteland catapult for just comic value of them usually groaning as they slide down. _________________ Highest Kreate-A-Fatality string: 11, with both normal fighters and giant class fighters. Ultimate Fatality!

That moan always reminds me of the sound they make when their corpse surfaces in the Dead Pool in MKII, lol.
Yin Yang Island wasn't a bad idea, but it came across as pretty tacky. The music really ruined it, in my opinion. _________________ Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen!

Here are my opinions ...
Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance - I don't think MKDA had any death-traps, did it? I havn't played that 1 in a few years, but I remember whenever you grounded your opponent against the wall, a light-blue forceshield would block him (LOL)? Kind of pathetic if you think about it.
Mortal Kombat: Deception - Definitely the Falling Cliffs death trap, I mean that has got to be the easiest, slowest, and most painful death trap in MKD. When your opponent is knocked off the cliff, he lands on a jagged rock! Except that isn't the worse part, the spike goes directly through his @$$ and croch leaving a bloody chunk of WHATDAFUX! on the jagged rock. ROFL.
Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks - Probably in the level (Soul Tombs) in Story Mode. When you first enter the Soul Tombs, there is a dark trench in the middle of the room - with spikes on the sides. When knocking a Tarkatan warrior into the trench, 1 of his arms and legs catches the spike (ripping them off), while he falls to his doom Crazy $hit Midway comes up with
Mortal Kombat: Armageddon - Umm... do you guys remember that 1 arena? I think it was called Shao Kahn's Throne Room or something, whatever it was - it had a chandelier w/ fire hanging as a death trap. Damn! It makes you want to get rid of the chandelier hanging in your dining room (LOL), if you have 1.
What do you guys think about that!!!

Probably the Bell Tower from MKA.
It's nice they brought that stage and fatality back, completely revamped.
Shame they didn't include the several floors of weak wood.
That woulda been the ultimate nostalgic thing to do.
Woulda brought a tear to my eye and a smile on my face. _________________ YOU HAVE FOUND ME! NOW PROVE YOURSELF! -Reptile

To be honest, the MKA Belltower trap was the first one that actually freaked me out, until I realized the body's positioning didn't match up with the positioning of the blades. Then it just got boring. _________________ I'm gonna marry Quan Chi some day...
