Okay, detail...
The Dead Pool itself is a simple, yet well constructed arena. The music suits it just fine, also. The death trap is quick, but still full and fun, and that "aawuuwah?" never fails to make me laugh.
Even in MKD, the trap was well done.

recently played deception again and fell in love with the pit 2 remasterd death trap! claasic!!!!
quite liked the armory trap as well just the thoughtfulness of being burned in hot metal (toasty!!!) then the roof squashin you! boons an evil genius!

I'd forgotten all about the armory. Yes that was a seriously nasty one, and probably one of the all time best death traps.
Makes you wonder what sort of devious devices we'll see in the next game...

You mean the Pit 1 Fatality? I don't think The Pit 2 is in Deception man.

Razer is right on this one. Still, having a remastered Pit in Deception was pretty sweet. If they really want to push it over the edge of awesomeness, they would have put some of the developers' heads on some of the spikes surrounding the fighting platform.

The Pit II has the kharacters explode? I don't think so.  Don't they just go splat when they hit rock bottom? I think you're thinking of the Sky Tower from Deception.

That what I mean man if they had the Pit II ina 3d it should be a splat like the original instead of the sky tower's exploding effect. I never liked that part of the Death Trap.
