Post subject: (MKG) A Strange Fatality Glitch |

I was playing Mortal Kombat Gold the other day as Mileena. I had just defeated Kitana. I did the fatality input for her Sai Throw fatality, but something went wrong. HORRIBLY WRONG. She did not use the Sai Throw fatality. Instead, she lift Kitana up over her head, and ripped her in two!!
She had used a fatality that's not even hers! Has this happened to anyone else in this game? Seriously, I want to know if this is common, or just a simple glitch that rarely occurs.

Rare glitch.
Did you play with or against Kai before this fight? That might have contributed to the glitch.

The fight ladder was: Tanya, Kung Lao, Jarek, Quan Chi, Kitana, Goro, Shinnok. I had just defeated Kitana. I didn't fight Kai any that whole time.
I just up and did Kai's fatality.

Well, I dunno man.
I do know it's just a glitch. There's no cheat or code I can think of that would do something like that. But hey! Just enjoy it. I'd love to see Mileena rip someone apart like that.

I've had a different glitch concerning Scorpion's Flame fatality and Sektor's flamethrower fatality.
occasionally, my opponent (can be anyone) will be set on fire, but when they go to run around, the rigging for the character kinda falls apart and as they are running, they twist up like Tanya's kiss fatality.
REALLY wierd.
In fact, I think it's IN the MK Fatality theater here.

Mortal Kombat Gold is apparently full of more glitches than I had perceived.
I won a tournament and instead of seeing my character holding a trophy and a skull, I saw a floating trophy and skull with a tiny image of the Mortal Kombat Gold title screen.

Look these glitches up.
Most of the are quite interesting while some just plain out suck.
For instance, some glitches in the game cause the Dreamcast to reset itself.
No joke. It literally just resets right in the middle of gameplay.

Dude you kould be in trouble.
Years ago my MK Gold just fucked itself up.
I turned it on one day and I was playing as scorpions fucking spear against nothing with the title screen in the background. Whenever id hit a button everthing would go mental all over the screen.It never worked after that.
These glitches kould be a sign. Watch out.

Well I sure hope not. I just got this copy of MKG.
Wouldn't want it to break on me just when I got it!
I read a glitch list recently saying the tournament glitch is common for MKG Version 1.0. It's Version 2.0 that fixed the problem, but sadly, that's not the version I have.

Well in that kase your kopy should be ok.
(Well konsidering how much it was used.)
The only games I played for Dreamcast was MK Gold and the first "Soul" game under the title "Soul Calibur" but MKG was played way more so just take it easy lol
Im not sure on which version I owned though.
Wish I kould be more help lol

Well, there's the Gold version which is Version 1, then you got the Red version which was Version 2. Version 2 fixed many glitches and even made the VMU compatible which Version 1 didn't seem to support.

I had Version 1 then dude. I think Baraka, Kung Lao and Kitana is on the front of the disc. If thats the one you got then enjoy the game now in kase the same happens lol
So version 2 is red and fixed many glitches.
