I think you've seen my UMK3 New Fatalities, if you haven't, watch it. It's in my signature.
So, the idea now is to make a MK2 version of it, and I'm not even gonna start making it until I get all of the ideas... Which I'm short on.
That's where you come in, loyal followers. You said you'll be here when 'that time' is at hand.
Well, it is.
I currently have only one idea, and it's for Scorpion.

Alright! This should be awesome. Let's see now, based on the MK2 sprites:
Liu Kang - Multiple butterfly kicks, followed by the uppercut from that fatality, but have him shoot his fireball at the opponent just as they hit the ground, burning them to their skeleton.
Kung Lao - Uppercut the opponent, followed by him throwing his hat which misses, but returns to slice them in half horizontally (ie. Cage's torso rip fatality) while they are in midair.
Johnny Cage - Use a Green Bolt to knock off the opponent's head, then use the torso rip fatality, but have him put it back on their legs, but backwards.
Reptile - Slide in for an uppercut, which knocks them backwards, and use an Acid Spit to acid cut them in half.
Sub-Zero - Freeze the ground to make the opponent slip around, then use a kick to knock away his mid-section with his head spinning in midair, then quickly use Sub-Zero's Ice Grenade fatality on the head to make it explode.
Shang Tsung - Have him uppercut the opponent so they go up over the screen, then have him walk under where they would land, and have him use his friendship rainbow, which will kut them in half when they land on it.
Kitana - (This may be difficult) Use her Kiss of Death combined with her Friendship, wherein she removes her mask, takes out a cake, and blows the flames from the candles at the opponent. While they burn, she can chop off the flaming corpse's head with her fan.
Jax - Have him try to use his Energy Wave attack, but nothing shoots out. He tries multiple times, but it doesn't work. Fed up, he Gotcha!-grabs the opponent's head off, lighly tosses it up and roundhouse kicks it so it explodes in a bloody mess, all while the body stands and falls over.
Mileena - (Another combo here) She pulls here mask down, then she uses her sai (Surgery fatality) to stab off the opponent's head. She then eats the head off of the sai and spits out some blood.
Baraka - He uses a Blade Spark to knock off the opponent's head, then he uppercuts them, and catches them on his blades (Stab Lift fatality pose) with their legs falling from their torso.
Scorpion - I trust your idea for him to be awesome.
Raiden - Have him do his Lightning projectile pose so that his hands are up against the opponent's torso. We can hear electricity, and after a few seconds, the opponent's top half is blown off.
Have fun dude, this thing should turn out epic.

Dude, those are the wickedest ideas I've heard in my life...
But I just don't like it as complicated as you made it...
Liu Kang is pretty great, no bad things there. 
Kung Lao same.
Heheh, Johnny Cage is a little twisted, we'll work something out...
Reptile is cool, we'll work something out there, too...
I think SubZero's idea is fantastic, but without the Ice Grenade stuff... Sorry, it's just what I think.
Haha, ShangTsung was great!
I think Kitana's first part was great, just I don't think the decapitation is needed... Again, we'll work something out. 
Jax... Well, it's a little too comic, but I like the general idea.
That Mileena fatality is like a MK2 version of my Mileena fatality (in UMK3 New Fatalities)
Baraka's is a little weird... How do you think about this :
Baraka uppercuts the victim then does that Blade something (where he crouches and moves his arms up-down) on the falling victim, practically dismembering him, or worse...
You shouldn't trust me on the Scorpion idea, it's incredibly simple. Give me a hand.
Raiden is pretty nice, we'll work on it.
Of course, I can't thank you enough...
I'm not gonna start working on this for a while now, but I appreciate ANYTHING you can think of.

Hehe, okay, time for some reworking:
Johnny Cage - He could Torso Rip the opponent, throw them away are Green Bolt them before they hit throw ground, resulting in blood galore.
Sub-Zero - No Ice Grenade is fine.
Kitana - No decap.
Mileena - Here's a new one: Start with her pulling down her mask, eat the opponent's head, the use the Surgery fatality, which somehow manages to slice the opponent in half vertically, like Kung Lao's Hat Slice fatality. editing the opponents split image shouldn't be too hard to do.
Baraka - Your idea is wicked, go for it!
That's all I got for now. We can work more out if the need comes.

Liu Kang: "One Inch Punch of Death" - Similar to the one inch punch performed by Bruce Lee only it'll cause the opponent to cringe in pain before they explode.
Kung Lao: "Teleport Mayhem" - Kung Lao bursts into a blurry frenzy of teleportation attacks all around the opponent, finishing with a kung Lao spin splitting the opponent from head to toe. You could use the sprites for the decap fatality for this.
"Body Slit" - Kung Lao throws his Hat vertically half-way into the opponents chest. He teleports and pulls it out the other side.
Johnny Cage "Split Kick" - Using cages close kick. Johnny Cage splits opponent in half with the kick.
"Kick Decap" - A take on his klassic fatality. Decapitation using the close kick instead of the uppercut.
Thats what I got so far. Its 4.26 am so I gotta go to sleep.

Hahah, that's great, loving it.
Liu Kang's fatality is pretty cool, I like Kung Lao's second and Johnny Cage's second fatalities better than the first ones.

Yeah. The only problem is that I feel that you're expecting it to be ready as soon as possible.
And I don't even plan to start on the fatalities for at least a month...

I don't expect anything any time soon. If it takes a while for it to be done, then so be it. More time = more time to make a quality animation.

Just quick ideas here man.
Reptile - Reptile forms an acid pool below the opponent (similar to Subby's ground freeze). The opponent melts from toe to head lol
Raiden - Raiden froms another Raiden (in red or blue) similar to the friendship. Only one does the shocker move on the opponent while the other charges up the God Uppercut of Doom lol then hits the opponent with it (EXPLOSION) lol The other Raiden then teleports back into the original.
-The other is Raiden does his win pose but he's really kausing Lightning to shock the opponent.
Not as good as the first bunch but im kinda rushing it here. I'll work on em when I relax a bit later or something lol
Remember to mention whoever's ideas you use in the vid dude. That shits always appreciated.

I wanted to do that Reptile one in the UMK3 New Fatalities, but then couldn't find the sprites that I needed (now I know how).
The Raiden's idea about making another Raiden was also in my never-will-be-finished flash movie It Ain't Easy Being Raiden... (and in my Raiden avatar)
You couldn't possibly know any of those stuff. Funny... OR IS IT?!...
