Post subject: If you could who would you pick to train you...???? |

If you appeared in the world of mortal kombat and you needed some serious training before exploring the mortal kombat universe without getting your ass kicked and if you had the power to pick a mentor or a trainer or w/e who would it be for the first few years of training before you can explore the mortal kombat world...without worrying about getting your ass kicked!!!
I would say lin kuei grandmasters personal training, teaching me every type of elements: such as fire,ice,smoke,poison and w/e they teach.
But the best option is Shao Khan assuming if he gets up his damn coach or shang tsung/quanchi will do. They both have some SICK SICK MOVES to teach!!!
Although it gets  confusing there are some characters with some nice moves and fighting styles
In real life I practice boxing btw

Cool topic...
Erm, I'd have to say (after some brief thought) that I'd choose Shujinko. Mainly because he looks like Pai Mei from Kill Bill 2... 
In real life I practice Origami btw

Scorpio is a good choice but he was original a lin kuei and I think the Lin kuei grandmaster would be able to teach all of the Ninja Moves: Smokes moves,Subzeros,Scorpios moves,Hydros and etc...
The Lin Kuei grandmasters got some moves baby!!!
But in all seriousness I think I would go with shao khan or Shang Tsung

Sorry man but Scorpion wasn't a Lin Kuei assassin. The founder of the Shirai Ryu was. Scorpion has always been Shirai Ryu. Nice pick though. D.O.T.R. showcases the Lin Kuei's powers more I think.

Id probably personally pick Sub-Zero, as I love >most< of his ice moves, and the shotokan fighting style.
Or, maybe even Kano and his Aikido fighting styles (I know alittle of this fighting stytle in real life)
Or someone who knows Tae Kwon Do (another one I know abit about)

I'd go with Shujinko, I reckon. He's been trained by about a dozen of the best kombatants in all the realms, so he's have a hell of a lot of knowledge to pass on his students, and as we all know "There is no knowledge that is not power!"
Bo Rai' Cho would also be a good choice for a master. If he's good enough to train Earth Realms champion, then I'm sure he'd be good enough to train me

Shujinko would probably be the best, as you say deathrider, es been trained by a tonne of people, and some of the combos and branching moves he can pull off in MK:D are simply amazing!
And also, thanks deathrider. Im doing my best, and I think im getting the hang of all this.

Yeah, Raiden would also be a great choice. As long as you didn't have to hang out with Johnny Cage, because all those goody goodies seem to hang out together. I ain't going drinking with Cage

I would definitely chose Jade to train me because she knows how to use a lot of weapons and she can even teach me how to fight and kill in a sultry manner.
