Hi. I just signed up to these forums, and must say I am completely lost as to where to start...can anyone give me a couple of pointers, like where most of the activity is, etc?

Its a bit tricky at first with the size of the site.
If your looking kharacter moves etc and interviews and shit,,,that'll be over to the left. Scroll down to see it all. On the forum most of us kan be found in General Discussion. However a few of us are posting in other threads etc.
Just have a look around man.
You should note though make sure when replying to a thread/topic make sure it has had some replies within the lest 6 months. And that the threads have been active and not just replied to by someone who doesn't know the rules yet.
Im sorry if that was konfusing man lol
ChibiHana (one of the moderators) should be able to handle any questions you need answered.

General MK Dicussion usually has a fair few hot threads in it. That's where most of the activity goes down. It would be a good place to start, and get known by the regulars round here.
Welcome aboard, xDisturbedx. And if you're named after the band Disturbed, then you'll find there are a few fans (myself included) lurking around the forums.

Disturbed are a monster of a band. Draiman is one of my all time favorite vocalists. Dude is a fucking genius.
Feel free to drop into any of the forums that you find lit up (latest news, off topic, talk talk talk, classic kombat... and anything else that you might see along the way), you'd never know where you might find some good threads.

One last thing...whats the go with swearing and vulgarity. Iv been on forums before, and my last one had a strict no swearing approach.

mkay, first off, hi! I'm a mod here at TMK, and I can probably answer any questions you've got, especially if it's about hen- er, I mean the site. =)
although it looks like some of the members here have tackled that task, and quite well, might I add.
one awesome thing that the site has that I use really often is the "view posts since last visit" option, and that's above the listing for all the portions of the forums.
just figured that might be a little way to make your navigation easier. every little bit helps, right?
and um... yeah. make sure you read the rules (that applies for everyone, actually), which I believe can be found in the Rules and FAQs section of the forums.
I hope you enjoy your time here, my friend, and happy posting! =)
