I've been jamming with a kinda classic rock covers band over the last few months, and the song that I'm learning for tomorrow night's practice has left me slightly puzzled. The song in question is Hazard by Richard Marx. Beutifully written ballad about a tragedy in a small Nebraska town. Gut falls in love with a chick named Mary, Mary dies, and all finger are pointed at him for being a bit of a fruitcake in general.
Simple enough idea, great song, but did he kill Mary?

Its a tricky one. Either he killed here out of jealousy or the cop set the dude up.

It's defo a toughie. There doesn't really seem to be any other specific characters in the track except for the singer, the cop, and Mary, so it's really hard to tell.
We had a huge conversation about it in the practice room last week, and came to the conclusion that the sheriff killed her... and that's why Bob Marley shot him
