Post subject: Just a Little Ego Trip |

There was a gaming tournament in one of my locals bars last week. The poster said the games being played would be Street Fighter, Fifa, Tekken, and Mortal Kombat. So I thought, I might have to drop down to that.
I decided to take a day or too off work (worked up a lot of overtime lately, so I was owed a few days off) to spend some quality time with my Xbox, and warm up for the tournament. I never really played much of MK vs DCU, so I really needed the practice. I spent an our or two in practice mode with Sonya Blade, and then took her online to try my luck against some real people.
I won some, and lost some, but was confident enough for the tourament.
That night, I dopped down to the tournament to find out that Street Fighter and Fifa has been taken off the bill. I didn't care about fifa, as I'm not a sports fan and had never played it, but I would have loved to have a shot at the Street Fighter title.
First up was Tekken 5. I hadn't played Tekken since Tekken 3, so I was fairly rusty at it. After a fight or two, I got my head a some of my old favorite combos and counters, which lead me all the way true to winning the final 
Next up was MK Vs DCU, or so we thought. Turns out it was MKII, which I was delighted about, as it's my strongest MK game. The next hours worth of fights were fairly one-sided. People would step up, and I'd knock them down. Even scored a flawless victory on one poor motherfucker, and got a round of app;ause every time I preformed a fatality move. I went all the way through to win the finals of this tournament too, and went home mighty proud.
Ok, that's it. I'm finished boasting now

Haha awesome man I love hearing about this shit! TMK has a Tournament video on youtube its kool too. What a stroke of luck that it was MK II man how awesome did that feeL?!

Now now don't put yourself down man.
Theres no way of knowing that unless we fight.
And iv had my fare share of loses especially against spam players and even noobs! Annoys me. But if the person plays MK the way its supposed to be played it kould go either way. Its all about the match!
