Oh well, here's another one!
Did you know that Mortal Kombat was referenced in an episode of Malcom in the Middle? Reese claimed he got to the secret level of Mortal Kombat, to which Hal responded, "That's impossible, no one can beat Sub-Zero."

As for MK Did You Know?, did you know that TOASTY made a small kameo in Deception's Koquest mode? When Shujinko is trying to guess a clan's password, he says toasty. |
I heard about it however its been that long since iv played Deception I kan't remember if I actually heard it. I think I have I used to play MK Chess flat out. Scorpion was always the grunts! ^-^

Apparently, TOASTY is supposedly in Chess Kombat, but I have never been able to get it. You're supposed to use the Kill spell, and TOASTY would be said by Dan Forden (sans Dan Forden's head). May be just a rumor, but it would be kool if it kould actually work.

Yeah, I heard of that a few years back.
Never seen the episode, though. _________________ I'm gonna marry Quan Chi some day...

Let's see what else should people know?
Did you know that the box art for Ultimate Mortal Kombat (DS), at least the North American version, for advertising that the game includes Puzzle Kombat, it used a screenshot from Deception? It shows Baraka and Havik, even though Havik isn't in the game. Also, you kan tell that the screenshot has better graphics than the DS version.

How come Havik and the other folks were never put into the game?
I hope they bring back Puzzle Kombat and add in some new charcters. _________________ I'm gonna marry Quan Chi some day...

Did you know that Game Boy Advance's Mortal Kombat Tournament Edition was originally gonna be called "Dedaly Revenge"?

I always thought Deadly Revenge was fake, guess it's not.
Now, for MK DID YOU KNOW?
Did you know that the first MK game originally had Johnny Cage to be the protagonist? This was when Jean Claude VanDame (or whatever his name is) was the basis for the game. When VanDame was unavailable, Johnny Cage was kicked to the side, and Liu Kang became the protagonist. _________________ I'm gonna marry Quan Chi some day...

Adding on to Riyakou's MKDYK?, files in the orginal game's kode still say VanDamme, confirming that he was going to be in the game. Plus, his nut punch in Bloodsport was most likely used as inspiration for Johnny Cage's move of the same name.

I got that little tidbit from ScrewAttack.com's Video Game Vault on Mortal Kombat on the Game Boy. They also have VGV's on Mortal Kombat 2 and Mortal Kombat 3.

Here's a little thing MK DYK? that isn't in an MK game.
In Grand Theft Auto IV, there is a trophy/acheivement kalled, "Finish Him." An obvious nod to Mortal Kombat.
