Just a little fun topic I might kontinue if you guys like it.
Little MK facts you mightn't have known.
Please feel free to add you own "Did You Know?"s at any time Test Your Knowledge!
But please make sure the information is true! You must have read it or seen it from an official source. You don't wanna be getting told "you got it wrong dude" lol

Did you know the reason why Fatalities were first kreated?
Well according to an article with John Tobias and Ed Boon (Masters of Mortal Kombat by Mike Stokes) in #1 of the Manga Published Mortal Kombat Comics series (which featured "Blood and Thunder", "Battlewave" stories etc) Ed Boon always disliked the "Dizzies" in Street Fighter. So they decided to move the Dizzie if you will to the very end of the match so that way the winner would have the satisfaction and the loser kan't komplain lol
Heres exactly what Ed Boon says in the interview:
"The way fatalities emerged was we really hated in Street Fighter how you would get dizzy, and the other guy has this free hit on you, so we thought we'd move that to the end of the game so the guy who had the free hit would have the satisfaction, but the other guy wouldn't be there as a sitting duck." - Ed Boon

Kool new thread we got here. I think I got a little knowledge to share.
Don't know if many people know this, but the opening to Mortal Kombat Deception is censored in some versions. I kame across this when watching it on Youtube, like in the opening punches and when Quan Chi chokes Shang Tsung to death. I thought, "Isn't something missing from this? Say, blood?" I have the GameCube version, and it has blood in all it gory glory. I do not know for sure if the PS2 or XBox versions are censored, so I kannot konfirm for them, but the majority of Deception openings on Youtube are censored.

Nice thread.
Did You Know...?
- There were only four designers in the MKTeam for MK1.
- Mortal Kombat is what led to the founding of the ESRB.
- The male to female ratio of MK characters is so large, many people speculate Ed Boon to be a sexist (which is stupid).
- Reiko was originally Rain, but was changed in the last minute.

Yeah has more of an MK animated series sound to it.
Preferably an anime version! This is the only way for it to have its full animated gory glory in my opinion.
