ne problem:
Where are all these NEW characters we were told about? All the "killing off as many of the old ones as we could" thing and starting over?
I saw nothing but nostalgia.
Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Kung Lao, Shao Kahn, Raiden, Reptile, Kenshi (I think,) Mileena, Johnny cage, Nightwolf, Sektor... those are all old. That's a roster of 11 already. I's be surprised if there were any more returning charcters since the bearing on "NEW" we were warned about.
Either way.... WOW. That looks incredible. No shit. Everyone, word of a TMK Sage, watch this... you will die of happy.
I'd also like to say that the tag team element seems very cool and was a long time coming in MK.

I'm not sure myself; the trailer just said Mortal Kombat so maybe its a reboot (i'm really not sure) or its continuing from armaggedon (highly unlikely); I heard that the guys said that they were aiming to make the best story mode for a fighting game; oh yeah and I think Sonya n Kitana in it too; can't wait

The kharacters seen in the trailer are: Kahn, Raiden, Cage, Subs, Reptile, Nightwolf, Kenshi, Daegon, Mileena, old man Tsung, Sektor, Reiko, Tanya, Kira and Li Mei. Whether the newer kharacters are just in the trailer as test models or they will be re-telling the MK story including these kharacters I don't know.......yet ^-^

Hell Yeah, just saw this on Kotaku. Its been a great week for Mortal Kombat hasn't it?
Hopefully this will be like MK Trilogy / Armaggeddon with a large selection of Characters and Stages and all the pit fatalities (I noticed what looked like the Pit or Pit 2 in the clip).
It's a pity you didnt see all of kung Lao's Fatality but the video sure did bring back some memories.
BRING IT ON!! 2011 can't come fast enough
Knowing my luck though the game will be refused classification or Fatalities will be turned to friendships or some crap here.
Guess I will have to import if thats the case.
EDIT - I watched it again seems like it was the Pit 1

Wow I’m absolutely ecstatic…I literally did a little dance before this post…did you guys see the internal bone breaking view…wow!!! I feel like a kid again eagerly awaiting the release of MK2…
