So they are going back to 2D? Interesting although it does make me feel that maybe they are taking the easy way out by not trying to perfect the 3d fighting engine. Will make the game simpler to play I suppose.
Can't deny that I'm excited either way. Just glad to be getting a proper MK game after a couple years of waiting.

The game looks like it can please both side of the table. On one side, fans of the series will be pleased at the classic 2D style of fighting, while the people who are just getting into the series can have a control scheme that does confuse as much as the psuedo 8-way-run style.

Holy shit. Looks freakin' awesome. Haven't been this excited for a Mortal Kombat game in a while.
Also, was it just me or was Scorpion not shown at all?

Finally ed boon brings mortal kombat back to where it should be and always should stay as. I mean the trailer for this game is just amazing. Real Fatalities being back is great aswell. Definitely excited to buy this game when it comes out.

Looks fantastic, I can't wait for the game to be released. I've been waiting for this game for a long time and I've been waiting to get back into Mortal Kombat - this is exactly what I needed.
