So people could this be the new look for Kitana I can't say I remember seeing this costume in the previous games. Also why are there only female characters surrounding the arena?

Anyone else notice that instead of Blaze and a Liu Kang look-alike fighting on the back of the Pit 2, it's Kenshi and someone else? Holy altered history, Batman!

Just the way he seems to be squinting with his left eye (or maybe just the camera angle the pic is taken from) makes him look like he's doing an impression of a pirate

I think that, because the team is focusing so much on the personality of each character that they are trying to take the old Sub-Zero and give him a move menacing feel to him. You can't screw with his costum too much or it'll piss people off. Because he's a ninja, all you really have are the eyes to give him that personaliy. I think he looks disturbed and irritable which, is exactly the kind of person the original Sub-Zero was; Blood-thristy and voilent for little to no reason.

Which maybe why the younger Sub-Zero always emphasises he isn't his brother and probably why he became a wraith

Yeah I like Subby's look. Plain but still has a renegade feel. Especially with the little bits of blue arm wrap that moves in the wind.
